Implementing the directives of the Leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology on promoting the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and enhancing STEM education in schools, on the afternoon of September 3, 2026, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) organized a program to donate 36 sets of STEM learning toolkits to public primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary schools in Kien An ward, Hai Phong city. This activity contributes to creating conditions for students to access experiential learning methods, develop creative thinking, and form necessary skills in the field of science and technology.

Attending the program were representatives of the leadership of the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong province; Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien – Vice President of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology; Mr. Tran Quang Tuan – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of the ward; Mr. Nguyen Thien Kim – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; along with representatives of the leadership of departments/divisions under the People’s Committee of Kien An ward, the Boards of Management of public primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary schools in the area, teachers, and student representatives.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien – Vice President of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, emphasized that, carrying out the policy and directives of the Leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology in spreading scientific and technological knowledge, promoting innovation, and enhancing technological capacity for the younger generation, PTIT always focuses on implementing connection activities with general education institutions, contributing to building a foundation for future science and technology human resources.

Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien stated that STEM education plays an important role in helping students form scientific thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to apply knowledge into practice. Through the STEM toolkit donation program, the Institute aims to accompany schools in innovating teaching methods, enhancing practical, experiential, and scientific research activities for students.

At the program, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien – Vice President of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, directly presented 36 sets of STEM learning toolkits to representatives of public primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary schools in Kien An ward.

The donated STEM learning toolkits are practical tools to support teachers and students in implementing educational activities related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through using the toolkits, students have the opportunity to learn through experience, practice product design and manufacturing, and solve problems associated with real-life situations.

Mr. Tran Quang Tuan – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of the ward, representing the People’s Committee of Kien An ward, expressed his gratitude to the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology for its attention and support to schools in the area; and highly appreciated the significance of the program in promoting the movement of learning and scientific-technological creativity locally.

Representatives of the schools affirmed that they will effectively utilize the donated STEM learning toolkits, integrating them into teaching activities, science and technology clubs, and creative experiential programs, thereby contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education for students.

The program donating 36 sets of STEM learning toolkits in Kien An ward, Hai Phong, is a practical activity of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology in implementing the orientation of developing science, technology, and innovation; while also demonstrating the Institute’s social responsibility in accompanying the education sector, contributing to preparing a young workforce capable of adapting to the requirements of the digital era.
