In order to create opportunities for the Institute’s students to promote their creative spirit, practical problem-solving capabilities, and spread valuable ideas and projects to the School, local authorities, and the community, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) is receiving registrations to participate in the “New Generation Students 2026” Program organized by Vietnam Television (VTV).

RULES FOR THE RECRUITMENT ROUND “NEW GENERATION STUDENTS 2026” PROGRAM

1. Participants and Form of Participation

  • Students currently studying at PTIT (all training facilities).

  • Students can register individually or in project teams initiated by themselves.

2. Registration Method

  • I. Students send their application to the email address: sinhvienthm2026@gmail.com.

  • II. Deadline: From now until September 15, 2026.

  • III. Applications must meet the following requirements:

    • IDEA/PROJECT COVER

      • Name of the idea/project;

      • Name of the individual/project team;

      • Name of the university/institute;

      • Local area where the project is implemented (if any).

    • PAGE ONE: CANDIDATE/PROJECT TEAM INFORMATION

      • Full name:

      • University/Class/Academic year:

      • Major:

      • Contact phone number:

      • Email:

      • For project teams, provide full information for each participating member.

    • PAGE TWO: IDEA/PROJECT SUMMARY

      • Name of the idea/project.

      • Main idea of the project.

      • Practical problem the project aims to solve.

      • Beneficiaries of the project.

      • Main solution proposed by the project.

    • RECOMMENDED: IDEA/PROJECT INTRODUCTION VIDEO CLIP

      • (Maximum duration of 03 minutes)

      • Brief introduction of the individual/project team, school, and major.

      • Presentation of the practical problem the project aims to solve.

      • Introduction of the idea, solution, and creative, differential points of the project.

      • Presentation of the practical implementation feasibility of the project.

      • Statement of expected results and values brought to the School, locality, or community.

  • IV. Minimum registration quantity per school: At least 10 students.

3. Requirements for Ideas/Projects The competing ideas/projects must reflect the core spirit of the “New Generation Students 2026” program – “Hometown has jobs, ‘Viet’ Gen has ways” – and meet the following requirements:

  • Stem from a practical problem at the School, locality, or community;

  • Clearly define the problem and beneficiaries;

  • Demonstrate the perspective, creative spirit, and practical solutions of the young student generation;

  • Have practical implementation feasibility and the potential to create a positive impact on the community. The Organizing Committee prioritizes projects associated with the majors, fields, and training strengths of the Institute.

4. “Reveal” Recruitment Round

  • Students participate in 01 centralized recruitment session organized by VTV3 across regions.

  • At the “Reveal” round, individuals or student teams directly present and defend their ideas/projects before the Organizing Committee and Jury.

  • Based on project quality and candidates’ capabilities, the Organizing Committee evaluates and selects eligible individuals and project teams to advance to the next round.

5. Project Finalization and Institute Representative Team

  • Following the “Reveal” round, the Organizing Committee aggregates results and sends notifications to participating units and candidates.

  • For schools eligible to enter the next round, the Institute collaborates with selected candidates to discuss, agree on 01 official project, and finalize a team of 05 students representing the Institute to participate in the national competition rounds.

6. Accompanying the Competing Team

  • The Institute facilitates and accompanies the team throughout the program; supporting students in project implementation, participating in activities and rounds according to the Organizing Committee’s plan.

  • The Institute coordinates to organize student forces to cheer and communicate, spreading the journey, project activities, and achievements of the team.

7. Expected Schedule

  • Universities in Hanoi, Northern region, and Central region (provinces/cities from Hue city and northward):

    • August 20, 2026 – September 15, 2026: Official notification sent to schools, receiving registration applications.

    • September 20: Preliminary selection at Vietnam Television.

  • Universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Southern region, Central region (provinces/cities from Da Nang city and southward):

    • August 20, 2026 – September 15, 2026: Official notification sent to schools, receiving registration applications.

    • September 22: Preliminary selection in Ho Chi Minh City (address to be updated).

  • For schools outside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, candidates participate via online format (details to be updated after the school completes registration).

  • Subsequent rounds will be updated after teams complete the recruitment round.
